J & C O'Meara Ltd.
Established in Southport in 1990 by Senior Director Mr Joseph O'Meara and son Carl, the company originally started out offering service, maintenance and installation of woodworking machinery. From those early beginnings and driven by customer demand, in the early 1990s the company started to evolve into the supply of used machinery and again due to customer requirements and the introduction of the PUWER 98 safety regulations it became apparent that the cost difference between upgraded used machinery to the cost of new machinery was a lot less than many customers realised.
By the Mid 1990s the company had taken on a number of agencies and was able to offer a comprehensive range of both new & used woodworking machinery, the selection of which had to meet the strict criteria as set out from the many years experience gained as engineers to the industry.
